You can make this creamy fruit dip in five minutes using simple ingredients. It is a sweet, no-bake dip perfect for serving with fresh fruit at any gathering or as a quick snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup marshmallow creme or whipped topping (optional, for extra fluffiness)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar to the cream cheese, mixing on low speed until just combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. If you are using it, gently fold in the marshmallow creme or whipped topping until the dip is uniform and fluffy. Do not overmix.
  6. Serve this easy fruit dip immediately with your favorite fresh fruit, or cover and chill for up to one hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a variation that tastes like caramel, replace the powdered sugar with 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar and omit the marshmallow creme.
  • If you prefer a lighter dip without marshmallow creme, you can substitute 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt for the creme, ensuring the cream cheese is fully softened first.
  • Serve this dip with strawberries, apple slices, grapes, or pineapple for a perfect fruit platter pairing.
