Create this easy Italian Hoagie Dip, a cold, creamy appetizer that tastes just like your favorite deli sandwich. It is a perfect, no-bake party appetizer for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced provolone cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced ham, chopped
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced salami, chopped
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped black olives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped roasted red peppers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Fold in the shredded provolone cheese, chopped ham, salami, and pepperoni into the cream cheese mixture. Stir until the meats and cheese are evenly distributed.
  3. Gently fold in the iceberg lettuce, red onion, green bell pepper, black olives, and roasted red peppers. Mix just until the vegetables are incorporated; avoid overmixing.
  4. Transfer the dip mixture to a serving bowl.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve your cold deli dip with crackers, crostini, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a true ‘chopped sandwich dip’ texture, make sure all your meats and vegetables are finely chopped before mixing.
  • You can prepare this savory party dip up to 24 hours in advance. Keep it covered in the refrigerator.
  • This recipe works well as a low-carb option when served with celery sticks or bell pepper strips instead of crackers.
